Model 2820

Model 2820 Payoff unwinds coiled, flexible, plastic and rubber extrusions at an adjustable rate for the purpose of recoiling or cutting to length. The unit can also serve as a winder when a traverse is unnecessary.

Telesensor

Telesensor loop controllers may be added to maintain a consistent loop between the pay-off and a prime mover (such as a caterpillar puller). The Telesensor unit monitors the loop depth ultrasonically and transmits the signal to a controller which adjusts the speed and tension of the pay-off accordingly.

The system minimizes stretching and distortion to achieve accurate cut lengths and uniform respooling tension, and depending on application, need not touch the extrusion.
